Cake "Day and Night" is a combination of light and chocolate cakes, smeared with sour cream. This cake is appropriate both for the holidays and for ordinary tea drinking in the family circle.
Ingredients:
•flour - 1.5 cups (Night)
•Sugar - 1 Glass (Night)
•Squirrel - 3 Pieces (Night)
•sour cream - 1 Glass (Night)
•cocoa - 3 Tbsp. spoons (Night)
•baking powder - to taste (Night)
•nuts - 1 Glass (Night)
•yolk - 3 pieces (Day)
•sugar - 1/2 cup (Day)
•sour cream - 1/2 cup (Day)
•flour - 3/4 cup (Day)
•baking powder - to taste (Day)
•sour cream - 1 Glass (cream)
•sugar - 1 cup (cream)
•Chocolate - To taste (cream)
•cocoa - 1 Tbsp. spoon (for chocolate cream)
Preparation:
1. To prepare the “Night” cake, beat the egg whites with sugar in a foam.
2. Add sour cream, nuts, flour, cocoa, and baking powder. Beat well. Bake the cake, cool and cut lengthwise into 2 parts.
3. To prepare the Day cake, grind the egg yolks with sugar.
4. Add sour cream, flour, and baking powder. Beat well. Bake the cake, cool and cut lengthwise into 2 parts.
5. To prepare the cream, beat the sugar with sour cream.
6. Add cocoa to half the cream. Put cakes on dishes, alternating “Night” and “Day”, as well as white and chocolate cream.
7.Grease the upper light cake with white cream. Sprinkle one half of the cake with grated chocolate, leave the other half white.
